1. Rev. Wright’s sole job as a Pastor is to get lost souls to church and stay in church.
2. One thing being over looked in this issue is the congregation’s response to Rev. Wright’s hate and hurt filled messages, the response is immense.
3. Clearly Rev. Wright has found a new dynamic within his congregation. There are clearly people in the United States that wholeheartedly believe what Rev. Wright is questionably preaching. My first thought was “why and how reckless could a Christian pastor come to be”. Then I thought back to the congregation’s huge response to the message given on that particular Sunday.
4. I don’t agree with Rev. Wrights message one bit, but I now understand why he may say racist, fearful, hurtful, and anti-American things. Personally, I think it’s reckless and if America is so bad then why not find somewhere else to live.
5. It’s possible that by preaching those negative and reckless sermons that new souls are being one and that by going to church some people that may have made a bad decision didn’t. Maybe it’s one less gangbanger or prostitute roaming the streets. I think it is within the realm of possibility.
6. People that find Rev. Wright’s gutter messages to be true cannot be rationalized with. My personal belief is that we’re responsible for all the decisions we make in life and that it’s up to each individual to help themselves and others in good and bad times. It is not the job of the Government to take care of us! It is the job of the Government to protect its citizens and their way of life. One’s way of life can be affected when his or hers job is shipped overseas to a communist country that exports led based products to the U.S. then leans that their child tests positive for autism. Each individual rationalizes information and experiences differently.
8. Given the fact that the Tuskegee Study did happen, I can understand why some in the black community do believe that AIDS was created by the Government to kill off the black race. While I find this notion not to be true, I still understand how some find this conspiracy to be true. Personally I believe AIDS was a Government experiment much like the Tuskegee Study but the goals was to infect Africans and gay males with the disease.
9. At the end of the day maybe Rev. Wright is doing his job which is to bring and keep new souls. It’s unfortunate for Senator Obama if Rev. Wright’s calling is to win over lost souls by any means necessary. I hope for Rev. Wright sake that is his calling, if it is not his calling then I believe God will rightfully judge him.
